Mumbai University IDOL Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Here is the eligibility criteria for courses offered at IDOL.
F.Y BA
10+2 (HSC) from Maharashtra state board or equivalent( with english compulsory) OR
3 years Diploma from MSBTE or equivalent from other recognized boards OR
10+2 year ITI course.
S.Y. BA
Passed FY.BA
OR
ATKT in not more than 2 subjects in F.Y.B.A
OR
Passed all subjects in F.Y.B.A
OR
A student shall be allowed ATKT in 2nd year only if student does not fail more than 2 subjects in each semester (1 and 2) of first year in semester wise exam. Students have to pass KT in parent college only.
T.Y. BA
Passed FY. BA and SY. BA OR
ATKT in not more than two subjects in FY.BA (SY.BA passed in full) and SY.BA (FY.BA passed in full). OR
A student shall be allowed to keep ATKT in TY.BA if student fails in not more than two subjects in semester 1 and 2 and in semester 3 and 4 in full, or in semester 1 and 2 full and Semester 3 and 4with not more than two subjects. Students have to pass KT in parent college only. OR
Passed FY.BA and SY.BA for the students of other universities.
F.Y. B.Com
10 +2 (HSC ) from the state of Maharashtra or its equivalent from other states. OR
3 years Diploma from MSBTE or other equivalent certificate from recognized board OR
10+2 ITI course.
S.Y. B.Com
Passed F.Y. B.Com from university or other university OR
Student of F.Y.BMS / F.Y.B.A.F. / F.Y.B.B.I / F.Y.B.F.M. is eligible OR
Student of F.Y.B.B.I / F.Y.B.F.M. program is eligible but he/she has to study the subject Foundation Course Paper I of FY and to pass in the subject from IDOL in November, 2019. OR
Passed all subjects in F.Y. B.Com. OR
ATKT in not more than two subjects in F.Y. B.Com OR
Student shall be allowed ATKT in S.Y. B.Com only if he/she is not fail in more than 2 subjects in sem I and II of F.Y. B.Com(for semester pattern system students). he/she is required to pass the KT in the parent college.

Passed F.Y. B.Com and S.Y. B.Com OR
Cross KT is not allowed that is a student failed in not more than two subjects of F.Y.B.Com and have cleared all the subjects of S.Y.B.Com (in annual examination pattern). OR
Have failed not more than 2 subjects in SYB.Com and have cleared all subjects in F.Y.B.COM. OR
Failed not more than 2 subjects in Sem I and II in FY and have cleared all subjects in Sem III and IV in SY. (from parent college) OR
Allowed to keep ATKT if students have failed Sem III and IV of SY in not more than 2 subjects and passed all subjects of FY.(from parent college) OR
Students from another university must have cleared F.Y.B.Com and S.Y.B.Com.
F.Y.B.Sc. (I. T.)
Passed HSc with Mathematics and statistics.
S.Y.B.Sc. (I.T.)
Passed F.Y.B.Sc IT or ATKT in or three year diploma from any recognised state or central board students in all subjects of F.Y.B.Sc. (IT) and failed with not more than 200 marks from mumbai university.Sem III
Students will be eligible for Sem III if passed Sem I and II.
OR
Total marks should not exceed 200 if students fails in combination of Theory and / or practical taken in Sem I or II or together. Sem IV
No failure in Sem III to take admission in Sem IV. however, student must clear Semester I and II.
T.Y.B.Sc. (I. T.)
Passed all exam of F.Y.B.Sc IT and S.Y.B.Sc IT or its equivalent.
Passed in all subjects of F.Y.B.Sc IT and failed not more than 200 marks in S.Y.B.Sc IT from Mumbai university.
Eligible for admission if passed Sem III and IV.
OR
Marks do not exceed 200 marks if fails in combination of Theory and / or practical taken in Sem III or IV or together.
Or
Eligible to get admission in Sem VI irrespective of no. of heads of failure in the Sem V but result for the same should be kept in abeyance until student clears Sem III, IV and V in full.
F.Y.B.Sc. (Computer Science)
Passed HSC science with mathematics or equivalent.
S.Y.B.Sc. (Computer Science)
Passed F.Y.B.Sc. (Computer Science) or its equivalent.
OR
Failing with not more than 200 marks of F.Y.B.Sc. (Computer Science).
OR
Passed three years diploma from recognised states or central boards.
T.Y.B.Sc. (Computer Science)

Passed B.A/B.Ed in education as one of the elective papers from this or any other statutory university. (those who have passed B.P.Ed., B.Ed. (Physical), B.Ed. (Spl. (Edu.) etc. are not eligible).
M.A. Part- II (Education)
Passed M.A. Part – I (Education) (on or before commencement of M.A. Part – I (Education))
M.Com Part-I
B.Com / BMS/BBI/BAF degree holders and BMM only for management specialisation.
M.Com Part-II
Eligible to take admission in M.Com Part-II but will be provisional until passed M.Com Part-I.
MA/M.Sc. Part-I (Mathematics)
Passed T.Y. B.A./ B.Sc. with maths as a major subject of this or any statutory university.
MA/M.Sc. Part-II (Mathematics)
Eligible to take admission in M.A./M.Sc.(Maths.) Part-II irrespective of Pass or Fail in M.A./M.Sc.(Maths.) Part-I exam. However, students will not be allowed to take the exam held in the month of Oct/Nov. and submission of M.A./M.Sc.(Maths.) Part-I mark sheet (within 10 days from the date of result declared.)
Not allowed to take admission in MA/M.Sc. Part-II (Mathematics) unless has taken bachelor’s degree earlier.

Sem II
Graduate in any faculty with 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and Mathematics at XII or higher level.
Admission will be through entrance test.
Have to clear Sem I exam to appear for Sem II exam. Can Appear for sem I exam simultaneously with sem II exam.
M.C.A.(Second Year)
Sem III
Should have passed Sem I exam and has completed the terms for the sem II. student who has failed in Sem I and passed in sem II will also be eligible to take admission in Sem III.
If a student who has appeared simultaneously for the examination of Sem I/II and Sem III and has passed sem III but not Sem I/II exam will not be considered pass in Sem III as well.
Sem IV
Passed Sem I, II and III.
If a student who has appeared simultaneously for the examination of Sem III and Sem IV and has passed sem IV but not Sem III exam will not be considered pass in Sem IV as well.
M.C.A. (Third Year)
Sem V
Passed Sem III and IV. however, those who have passed Sem IV but not Sem III are also eligible for Sem V.
If a student who has appeared simultaneously for the examination of Sem III/IV and Sem V and has passed sem V but not Sem III/IV exam will not be considered pass in Sem V as well.
Sem VI
Passed Sem III, IV and V.
If a student who has appeared simultaneously for the examination of Sem V and Sem VI and has passed sem VI but not Sem V exam will not be considered pass in Sem VI as well.
PGDFM (Semester I & II)
Hold degree in any faculty and defence service personnel may be admitted to the course even if not holding degree.
PGDORM (Semester I & II)
Two year working experience in any organisation with a University degree in any faculty.
OR
Must have recognised professional qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience.
