Now that most of the colleges are reopening any soon, BMTC has began issuing bus pass to the students through online application. It has been decided by the Government of Bangalore that the students can travel from their place of residence to their educational institution using their previous bus pass. C. Shika, the director of BMTC has requested the students to apply for BMTC student bus pass 2020-21 online. The students will have to collect their bus pass from the BMTC center and until then they can travel using their previous bus pass. Once the students apply for BMTC student pass, they will have to wait for a time slot allocated to them to collect the bus pass. This was introduced by the government to keep the crowd in check.

You can easily apply for BMTC bus pass from the comfort of your home using your smartphone devices or your laptop. To apply for the bus pass, you will have to follow the following steps and have your ID proof and your admission number handy.

• Click on student pass 2020-21 (institution registration)
• Once you click, you will be redirected to the login page. 
• Enter your user name and password in the space provided.
• Enter other details like your caste, school or college etc.
• Once you fill in your details, click send OTP. 
• You will receive an OTP to the mobile number you entered in the application.
• An SMS will notify the approval from your institution or BMTC. 
• Once you receive an approval, book for BMTC bus pass appointment.
